Born as Gertrud Maria Althausen I finally changed my name starting in April. You may wonder why. If not skip reading.

After this process started I read in the newspaper that people in Sweden also change their names on mass. So I am not the only one.
People who know me for a long time gladly accept this change but still we all have to get used to it. It’s like having new shoes – you have to walk on them for a couple of days before they really fit.
